Eleven of Europe’s leading automotive and tech companies — including BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, Bosch, and Continental — have signed a 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 to launch a shared, open-source, automotive-grade software ecosystem.
Led by the VDA and the Eclipse Foundation as part of the S-CORE project, this initiative aims to move the industry from fragmented, siloed development toward a unified, scalable, and secure software foundation.
