//Compliance & Environment

With a view to our
common future

For GOD, the goals of economic success and social responsibility cannot be separated. Responsible and ethical behaviour towards employees, business partners, society and the environment are an integral part of GOD’s value system. Compliance with the law in our business activities is a matter of course. The following compliance guidelines are based on these principles as binding content of our business policy.

Compliance guideline

  • We comply with applicable law at local, national and international level.
  • Equal opportunities: We do not tolerate discrimination against any person.
  • We respect and uphold internationally recognised human rights and support their observance.
  • Occupational safety and health protection are a central component of our company.
  • We comply with applicable laws and rules when collecting, storing, processing or transferring personal data and information. When collecting, storing, processing or transferring personal data (e.g. name, address, telephone number, date of birth) from employees, customers and third parties, we take the utmost care and maintain strict confidentiality. We are supported in this by our data protection officer and the data protection coordinator.
  • We take equal account of ecological, economic and social goals in our entrepreneurial activities.
  • We take all necessary measures to avoid conflicts of interest arising between clients and GOD, clients and individual employees, and between individual areas, or to resolve them where they should arise.
  • GOD examines all offers from its business partners, suppliers and service providers in a fair and unbiased manner and commissions them after evaluating defined decision-making specifications such as suitability criteria and qualifications.
  • GOD does not tolerate any form of corruption or bribery.
  • We see ourselves as an active member of society and therefore get involved in the most diverse ways. Donations must always be documented in a comprehensible and transparent manner, i.e. the recipient and use must be known and the reason and purpose of the donation must be legally justifiable. Payments to private accounts are not permitted.
  • Fair competition is very important to us. We consistently reject relationships and agreements with competitors, suppliers, distributors and dealers that impair fair competition.

Environmental guideline

  • We consider the protection of the environment and the economical use of natural resources to be our social obligation.
  • We are guided by the guiding principle of sustainable business.
  • We use energy, raw materials and water sparingly.
  • We avoid environmental impacts such as waste, waste water, emissions and noise or keep them as low as possible.
  • The impact of our activities on the environment is recorded, assessed and derived into targets and measures for improvement. We are committed to working continuously to reduce our environmental impact.
  • We integrate all environmentally relevant business processes into our management system and are constantly looking for improvements.
  • We promote environmental awareness among our employees in order to jointly protect the environment in all areas of the company and to use raw materials and energy sparingly.
  • We actively advocate a balanced relationship between ecology and economy in order to leave our children an environment worth living in.
  • We consider social and environmental factors in the procurement of goods and services.
  • We are reducing our energy consumption and are committed to improving our energy efficiency.
